Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey: Why did you want to get into pro wrestling?
Chris Blaze: I got into pro wrestling very young I can always remember their being wrestling on tv. It was the only time my family actually sat down together and did anything.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:How did you get into pro wrestling?
Chris Blaze: I got into pro wrestling by going to local shows and a buddy of mine named Charlie Sizemore A.K.A Triple B L Brad Lamen was working on the card and offered to train me.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What was your training like? Anything like Tough Enough?
Chris Blaze: My training was tough. It was kinda like Tough Enough but more demanding. I remember getting up at 5 in the morning driving half an hour to North Vernon and training 8-10 hours outside in the heat. It was horrible but it was part of wrestling and I loved every minute of it.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:You currently work in the Indiana Indies. What is that like?
Chris Blaze: The Indiana independant scene it horrible right now alot of places just want hardcore. I personally want to see wrestling get back to wrestling and out of this hardcore funk it is in. I can't wait for HPW, AOPW, and SCW to finally get recognized for what they truly are. That is Wrestling promotions. They encourage wrestling and not just blood fests.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:How would you compare the Indiana indies to indies in the northeast such as ROH/JAP/USA Pro/CZW etc?
Chris Blaze: The Indiana indys right now don't come close to being on the level of ROH or anything like that their are some promotions that come close to being up there but they still need some work.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What do you think about the current state of indy wrestling today? WWE wrestling?
Chris Blaze: I think wrestling as a whole(indy and WWE) is in that down cycle. The way I see it, it will only take about 3-5 more years or less to become popular again. I am just riding out the down time and gonna reap the benefits of hanging there.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:Who would you rather spend a night out with, Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera?
Chris Blaze: Christina Aguilera deffinately she has some piercings that I would have fun finding.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What has been the best match in your career?
Chris Blaze: The best match of my career would have to be whenever I face my friend Damien Morrus. We hold nothing back and we don't have to work anything out before hand we can literally just walk out to the ring without saying a word to each other and put on a helluva match.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:Who are your favorite wrestlers of all time? Today? Indy wrestlers?
Chris Blaze: Jake Roberts,Matt Hardy,HHH,Raven for all time and today as far as the indys go I like to watch AJ Styles, CM Punk, Michael Shane,Christopher Daniels, and Chris Sabin
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:How hard is it to get work as an indy wrestler?
Chris Blaze: Right now work in Indiana is hard to come by, I think after the first of the year work will pick up greatly.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What do you think about the internets role on wrestling?
Chris Blaze: There are good sides and bad sides to everything in life and the Internet is no different. I like the internet cause it is an easy for me to communicate with my fans and to get seen. It also is bad in the way that their are way too many people that get on the internet that have never been in a wrestling ring or know what goes into putting a match together and how much hard work it really is writing columns and stories about things they don't know about.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:You have won a few titles in your career. What is it like knowing a promoter has faith in you to represent their company as champion?
Chris Blaze: It is always a great feeling to know that the promoter puts a belt on you knowing that you will carry that division well and be a leader.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What are your long term and short term goals?
Chris Blaze: My long term goals are to make it to either the WWE or NWA/TNA as is everyone elses, my short term goals are to just get as much ring time as I can and to travel a little more with wrestling.
Sean "The MiC" McCaffrey:What do you want to say to anyone reading this?
Chris Blaze: I want to give a shout out to Triple BL Brad Lamen, Hope you come home safe you are like a brother to me and I will never forget everything you have done for me and out country. I would also like to plug my website http://x-chrisblaze-x.cjb.net . I would also like to say thanks to all who read this and to all who support me.
