Johnny the Bison Bravado

Hey everyone, welcome to another McInterview. I had the honor of interviewing one of the nastiest men in the business today, in Johnny “The Bison” Bravado. Johnny comes from the old Doghouse and has a big match upcoming with Low Life Louie Ramos at USA PRO May 31st, Big Dick Dudley 2nd Annual Memorial Show. Here is the interview, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, even though I felt my welfare was in danger at some points. Bison is ready to make a major impact on the indies, and I think by reading this, you will now know it too.

Sean “The MiC” McCaffrey: (From now known as The MiC) How did you get your start in wrestling?
Johnny “The Bison” Bravado: (From now known as Bison) Well I got into wrestling about 3 yrs ago. I got a call from a long time friend asking me if I wanted to wrestle. That friend being E.C. Negro. From there we met up with Devious and A.M.I.L. They introduced us to the Doghouse and that’s how I got started. From there started to work out, do some matches and met some great people there like Louie, Homicide Bobby Lombardi, etc.

The MiC: What wrestlers did you watch as a kid?
Bison: I've watched so many wrestlers growing up; mainly I enjoyed watching Hulk Hogan, Ricky Steamboat, Randy savage, Bret Hart and Mr. perfect.

The MiC: How was your training? Difficult? Anything like Tough Enough?
Bison: Training was very difficult for the time I was training. The drills were hell, always wanted to puke right after. Honestly, I didn't train as much as the others at the Doghouse, but their personal reasons behind that, but still it was rough. Homicide whether it's wrestling or just training works you hard to death. I believe training with Homicide is a lot rougher then Tough Enough.

The MiC: What wrestlers are you a fan of today? What wrestlers do you not like?
Bison: Now genius you got to be a little more specific. I know your Irish and a drunk, so you’re obviously not bright, but are we talking Indy wrestlers or WWE or Japan wrestlers? You know what, never mind, I enjoy watching guys like Homicide, Christopher Daniels, Low Knight Squad, DRS an of course MYSELF. I hate a lot of people, I'll try to make it brief Demanto, Justin Cage, lot of other trash over at USAPRO, but I especially hate LOWLIFE LOUIE. After what he did to me back in January, I'm kill that man May 31.

The MiC: What is your greatest match? Worst match?
Bison: Damn let's see, I think best match I had was in CT for PWA. It was myself and Laithon against DRS. That match went very well. Now my worst match there were a few, but none that stick out so lets skip that.

The MiC: What are your favorite promotions to work for? Least favorite?
Bison: Right now I gotta say PWA is on top of my list. It's the only fed right now actually giving me a chance and gives lot of other guys chance to shine. I would like to work JAP, but that’s still up in the air right now USAPRO nice place to work. I don't have any least favorite promotions right now, but I’m sure I’ll have some in the future.

The MiC: What's a typical day in the life of Johnny "The Bison" Bravado?
Bison: What are you FBI? None of your business, move on to the next question!!

The MiC: How much pain does your body endure to go through a hardcore match, compared to a regular straight wrestling match?
Bison: The body goes through a lot of pain. The weapons and shit we play with it takes a toll on your body. Regardless man, this business is painful no matter what type of match you do.

The MiC: What would be your dream opponent?
Bison: My dream Opponent: BISON vs. RAVEN

The MiC: What are your career goals?
Bison: My career goals are plain and simple, make a name for myself in this business and get somewhere, start making money.

The MiC: On May 31st, you take on Low Life Louie Ramos. Louie has been making major waves in USA Pro as the hardcore wrestler to beat. Currently Louie is undefeated since joining USA pro this year. What can you do to beat him, and what can we expect from your match?
Bison: Listen very carefully MiC, Louie is a has-been, a never was. He's washed up. He's undefeated in USAPRO, so what? On May 31, I'm going to end that streak. This isn’t WCW and he ain't Goldberg. Low Life Louie was a somebody 3 yrs ago, but not anymore. Your going to see a very brutal and bloody match in where I beat and destroy Low Life Lucy, oh i'm sorry Louie.
