LLWA: Hostile Intent FULL RESULTS - The FINAL show
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's right folks - you read the thread header right. Saturday May 10th was the final LLWA show to be presented. However, that did not mean that any of the product would stop. Quite the opposite. But on with the results:
LLWA: Hostile Intent
Venue: 34 Lincoln St. Hamilton, ON
Time: 7:30 pm
Attendance: 35+
Ring Announcer: CEO J. Tyler-Smith
Referees: Jon Turnip, Dave Dread
Smith opened up the show welcoming the fans when he was interrupted by The Whoresmen. Steve Brown said that the faction has been having some troubles since the loss of The Prodigy some months ago but now they have a new member to induct. Brown brought out his old friend and first ever LLW Heavyweight Champion Adam Reed. Scotty O'Shea took the mic and said that out of respect for the team of 'Egos & Icons', he would relinquish his tag team title to Reed. Smith tried to convince Scotty not too and said that no belt was going to be given away and that Reed would earn that belt properly by wrestling for it later that night.
MATCH 1: PRIDE VERSUS PERFECTION
El Sombra def. Mike Alias
MATCH 2: PWA Elite Women's Championship
Jody D'Milo (w/Steve Brown) def. Allison Valentine
As Smith was ready to introduce the next match, Dan Magnum along with Jesse Jones (representing S & M Inc.; members Logan Savage and leader Gordon Gustav were away this day) came to the ring and Jones announced that since Savage was injured the tag match scheduled was not going to happen however Magnum does have issue with LLWA trainee Kenny. Magnum rushed to the back and dragged out Kenny. Double teaming, Magnum and Jones forced Kenny to agree to a match much to Smith's dismay and continued to brutally assault him by delivering multiple piledrivers. The Steel City Saints made the save and Adam Cage demanded Magnum face him on the spot.
MATCH 3:
Dan Magnum (w/Jesse Jones) vs. Adam Cage (w/Adam Armour)
As the close of the match drew near, Brown and Reed rushed in and attacked The Saints. The ref tossed the match out as Reed and Brown told The Saints that they were going to be their opponents tonight. Student Moondog Buddy came to the Saints aid however his efforts were thwarted with a run in - courtesy of Stephen Elias!!! Elias bolted from the ring and out the front door of the venue after beating down Buddy.
Next up, Smith brought out LLWA Champion EZE. He informed the crowd about his brutal ladder match the previous night at PWA and that unfortunately, he cannot wrestle today. Furious, Eddie Osbourne, along with Jones, came to the ring. EZE said that while he'll be happy to face Osbourne later, LLWA management granted him the permission to choose Osbourne's opponent.
MATCH 4:
Eddie Osbourne (w/Jesse Jones) def. Jeff Black (w/EZE)
After the match, EZE superkicked Jones while Black knocked Osbourne out of the ring. EZE said that next show, in July, it will be EZE vs. Osbourne for the championship.
After a ten minute intermission, Smith explained that apparently Timothy Dalton was called in by MI-6 London and was unable to appear tonight. Never the less, the action quickly resumed as Dalton's scheduled opponent: LLWA alumnus Cody Shore made his in-ring return after a near two year absence.
MATCH 5: JOURNEY TO THE UNKNOWN
Cody Shore def. Scotty O'Shea (w/Alex York)
*York tried to help Scotty win through cheating methods, but Scotty surprisingly refused his partners help which ultimately ended up causing him the match.*
MATCH 6: LLWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
"Egos & Icons" Steve Brown & Adam Reed (w/Jody D'Milo) def. The Steel City Saints
Magnum ran in and brawled with Cage, leaving Armour to fend for himself. Once they brawled into the back in which Magnum was greeted by security, Cage tried to run back out but it was too late as Armour succumbed to The Whoresmen.
One the ringside area was cleared, Smith brought out Commissioner Sean Cassidy. Together, they addressed the fans thanking them for their support since the re-launch of LLWA last July and how they are on the eve of the anniversary. Cassidy took the mic and informed fans about the incident involving Dave Dread last show with S & M Inc, and how they almost left Dread paralyzed. Cassidy explained how this morning he received a call that someone has now bought the majority of shares over and above Cassidy, Smith and Gordon Gustav. Unknown to everyone, including Cassidy and Smith, the new promoter was introduced. DAVE DREAD!!! The fans cheered at the sight of Dread who was all too happy to explain that while he was nursing his injury caused by S & M Inc, the only option he saw fit to make sure nothing happens like that again was to purchase the majority of shares from Living Legends Wrestling Commissioner Ricky Stardust. That wasn't all, Dread announced that this was the final LLWA show and that beginning July, it would be under a new moniker 'PURE ADRENALINE PRO'. Dread concluded by saying that for the final match of the final show, there could be no better referee than himself.
MAIN EVENT: LLWA CHAMPIONSHIP
**Winner received a contract to face the LLWA champion at a time of their choosing**
'The Motion Picture' Ethan Page def. Alex York (w/Scotty O'Shea)
After a hard fought match up, Page was the victor. Champion EZE was out at ringside with Cassidy and Smith. EZE and Smith got into the ring to congratulate Page and Smith presented him with the contendership contract in which Page signed immediately and EZE gave his initials as well.
Looks like the Summer season is already heating up, and LLWA turned Pure Adrenaline Pro will return July 5th. Keep checking here on the board for all the details.
