Joey Image Comments on Hustler's Passing

I still am questioning if this is a fucking rib....I am in total shock. I'm at work right now, not believing what I'm reading. Jimmy Hustler has passed away.

I've known Jimmy now for quite a few years, obviously through the wrestling business. I've worked FOR Jimmy, and I've worked WITH Jimmy, and I'm just fucking stunned, yet pissed at the same time. Pissed because I got 2 voicemails from Hustler on my cell phone no more than a week ago, and with working 10 - 11 hours a day during the week, and wrestling on the weekends, I just haven't had the time to get back to him, and now I realize how fucking god damn selfish that is of me.

I don't know what he wanted to talk about or what he needed, but regardless, I of course thought 'no problem, I'll give him a buzz back next week"..and now, what the fuck. I don't even know what the fuck to say.

People pass away in the wrestling business as much as they lace their boots it seems, but some hurt more than others, and this one is rough. I, in no way, pretend to be Hustler's best friend, but we were tight. There was at least one night a week where he'd send me a random IM just 'out of the blue' and from that we'd end up IM'ing each other about the business and just talking wrestling for hours.

I really don't know what else to say other than, the fact that Jimmy Hustler will be god damn missed. Bro you meant more to some of us than you even knew. Always cordial, polite, kind, very professional, and just an all-around funny and cool guy.

You'll be terribly missed, bro. I had a blast working your shows, and being a part of your locker room.
