Right now im just coming home and I turn on my computer and I am shocked to
find out that Doug Gentry has passed away. I usually do interviews here for
the DOI and stuff and i talk to people every once and a while but Doug I
would really talk to and keep in touch with. I am appauled and shocked to
say the least. He was a great guy never had a bad word to say about him. If
it wasnt for him and Rob and Pete I wouldnt have gotten some of the best
interviews I have done. I first met Doug a while back actually around this
time last year for a convention in long island.
We played the submission
Game against one another Team DOI vs Team RF video and just I had heard of
him from before and wanted to meet him. So after that we would keep in touch
here and there and he let me help out at the Pro Wrestling Elite shows. He
let me appear in two promos with Chris Hero and with Chris Idol. He was an
overall great person and he didnt need to help me one bit but he did and I
will always remember that. I talked to him recently about one or two weeks
ago and he said he was doing ok and just I was prayin for him and hoping
that he would be alright and I would help out and see him again and learn
from him about wrestling and booking and the production part but it was not
to be. Doug Whereever you are now I want to thank you for what you've done
and we'll miss you and we'll always remember you.
Rest in Peace Doug Heaven has gained another
