I can't believe this. Saturday night at JAPW Rob had told me that Doug was doing good and wanted to be there, but was a little tired out. I had a care package I gave Rob to give him. Now he's gone.
Doug was everything that was right with wrestling. He was a cool, laid back guy who just loved the business. We became friendly and I started helping out when he was booking PWE. Doug never had a bad word to say about anyone and I never heard anyone say a bad word about Doug. This just sucks, I'm still in shock.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and to Rob, Joe , Pete, and the rest of the RF crew. I will treasure his memory and the time we spent hanging out. Rest in Peace , my friend. 42nd Street Pete
