I just wanted to pay my respects to Doug Gentry. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his death and a pit still lies in my stomach at this moment. I always respected Doug's work as cameraman for thousands of indy wrestling shows, but moreso for what he brought to wrestling through his booking for Ring of Honor and PW Elite. The cards that he booked for those feds proved that he had a true knack for this business.

It wasn't till I started helping my friend Chris sell his Submission board game at indy shows when I started to know what Doug was truly like. Doug was always respectful and always said hello when he passed by the table as he did with everyone he knew. He always made his rounds at shows and always spent some time to just BS about wrestling or whatever. Doug was always seemed to be in a good mood and always brought spirits up when he was around. He was a pretty funny guy too and was never ashamed to be the bud of a joke from Rob, The Mic, or whoever. As others mentioned in their remeberences, Doug Gentry truly was a gentleman.

It's just not going to be the same not seeing Doug at wrestling shows behind the camera, at RFVideo's table or just hanging out. It's just so sad that such good people die at such a young age. It's just another stark reminder of how we should count our blessings each day we live in this world and take nothing for granted.

My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Doug's family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Lawrence "LCQUEENZ" Carlos
