DOI UPDATE
Posted at Sunday, 5:45 PM
As many may have noticed, the DOI has been updated with almost 30 stories today! As we already said, what happened to our site is being regarded as a potential terrorist attack, and the FBI, along with our server, is working on who did this to not only the DOI, but to other sites on our server.
Even though we have full control of the site again and are able to update, the DOI is still going through some kinks. As you may notice, the DOI Video section is still in the process of being redone, as our server is looking for all the files.
Our message board is still showing posts from June, but our server is working on restoring our board to August 10th, the day before the site was messed with.
Some links you may find on the site may be broken, but the DOI is working on this and will have everything up-to-speed soon.
Thanks to everyone who showed concern, and the DOI will continue and remain the top site content wise & traffic wise for independent wrestling.
Original Update:
As you may know, the DOI was attacked/hacked into on Friday. Right now the authorities are working on tracing the person who did this, as this was a potential terrorist attack, due to the material the person posted. Other sites on our server were hacked into as well, and it looks like whoever did this will be having charges filed against them by various people and possibly our server.
In the meantime, our server is able to back-up all our June files. We are still waiting to hear if we can get all our July/August files. Obviously the DOI needs all these files, as this was when our DOI store was created, and for all our news archives.
Right now, we don't want to post updates on the site, because if we can get our site back the way it was, then all the updates we post now will be deleted. We hope to be 100% running shortly.
We're asking if anyone happened to right click and click view source on our main page with all our recent stories, to please send us the html file to fix this situation faster. If anyone has the HTML coding to our DOIVideo section, we'd love that to, as this will fix everything faster as well. While it's probably a rarity anyone saved our html coding, it doesn't hurt to ask.
We hope to be running soon, and thanks to everyone for all the calls/emails about this situation.
