51. John Walters- returned to the indy scene and wrestled for WSU, PW Elite and other promotions. One of the best technical wrestlers around today. A former ROH Pure Wrestling Champion.
52. Joel Maximo- the SAT's are back and better than ever. Wrestled for PW Elite, NYWC, JAPW, PWU, and more. Arguably 1/2 of one of the best indy tag teams today.
53. Jose Maximo- teamed with his brother Joel, and wrestled for NYWC, PWE, JAPW, PWU, WSU, NWA Cyberspace & more. Won a ton of tag gold and reclaimed his spot as 1/2 of the better teams in wrestling today.
54. Crowbar (Devon Storm)- kind of what through a rebirth, as he had a great match with Sabu at UXW. Wrestled for ECPW, NWS, NWA Cyberspace and for other promotions. Still can carry indy workers to the next level.
55. Milano Collection AT- wrestled for ROH & for PW Elite. Getting a huge fan base in the States. Has a unique gimmick.
56. Jimmy Yang- wrestled exclusively for ROH during the year, and that's why he's not ranked higher, as he didn't work too often in the northeast. Recently resigned to the WWE.
57. Kid Kash- was on WWE Smackdown after lighting up the northeast indy scene. Had a great match at Hardcore Homecoming.
58. Super Dragon- former CZW World Heavyweight Champion, but only held the belt for a short while. Does most of his work on the west coast. Does a great job of riling up crowds, although alot of people think he's just a bully.
59. El Generico- "Ole, Ole, Ole" is often heard when he's around. Competed for CZW, ROH and JAPW. Known for his brainbuster off the top-rope. A very entertaining cruiserweight.
60. New Jack- still one of the craziest people in wrestling. Competed all over the place from JAPW to UXW to PWU. Known for his insane promos. Has a pretty good win-loss record to boot.
61. Jeff Jarrett- the former NWA TNA World Champion also held the Cyberspace Championship, which he treated like a joke when he laid down for Chris Harris after a fingerpoke. Despite what is said on the internet about TNA politics, Jarrett still gets huge heat at live shows and is a great promo.
62. Billy Gunn- don't mention Bill Apter around this "Bad Ass". Wrestled for NWS, UXW, and for NWA Cyberspace, among other promotions. Has a monster physique. Knows how to get over with a crowd.
63. Nick Berk- had a very strong year, and appeared on WWE TV seemingly every 2 weeks, where he earned the nickname, "The Raw Superstar". Has improved tremendously in every category. Wrestled for UXW, ABC PW, LSW, PWU, WXW and for other indy companies. Very good on the mic, and it's amazing that some promoters don't let him use those skills.
64. Mike Quackenbush- won CZW's Best of the Best tournament. Trains wrestlers at Chikara. Has created his own style of wrestling, which is something many wrestlers will never be able to say.
65. EC Negro- he's pretty much the lone Dirty Rotten Scoundrel now. Won the ABC Heavyweight Title. Is the leader of La Familia, which started off slow but has picked up a bunch of steam lately. Had the best physique of his life earlier in the year, but has added some weight. One of the best promo guys on the indy scene today.
66. Jay Briscoe- returned to wrestling in late 2005. Picked up the PWU Tag Titles with his brother Mark. Recently returned to ROH. Had some big matches for JAPW.
67. Mark Briscoe- returned to the indy scene in the later months of 2005. Quickly won the PWU Tag Titles. Rekindled his tag team feud with the SAT. If he wrestled more, he'd be much higher on this list. He's a top 20 guy when he's 100%.
68. Bison Bravado- followed up his strong year last year, with another WXW World Title win. Picked up the ABC Tag Titles (With Monsta Mack) and won the UXW NY Championship. Also competed for NWS, JAPW and for other promotions during the year. A very good brawler and possesses great promo skills.
69. Kenta Kobashi- wrestled only once in the northeast area in 2006, hence his abnormaly low ranking. However, his one appearance in the northeast deserves mention, as he chopped the hell out of Samoa Joe in one of ROH's best matches of the year. Perhaps the best overall wrestler in Japan.
70. Necro Butcher- wrestled for CZW, where he's become the face of the company. Huge part of the CZW/ROH feud. Can bleed and kick ass with the best of them.
71. Monsta Mack- had a great year, wrestling for UXW, JAPW, LSW and for other promotions. Not only has he revitalized his own career, he's helped out Havok a ton, as the pair are currently the undefeated UXW Tag Champions. In fact, since teaming with Havok, he hasn't lost once. Picked up huge wins over Trent Acid this year in JAPW. Still cuts great promos.
72. Oman Tortuga- one half of the OutCast Killahz. Wrestled for UXW, JAPW, PW Elite, PWU and for a ton of other indy feds. Perhaps is part of the best indy tag team in wrestling today. The bigger talker and more flashier member of the OCK.
73. Diablo Santiago- part of the OCK, where he wrestled for alot of indy promotions. If there was a good show taking place in the northeast this year, 9/10 times, Diablo Santiago was on it. Very underrated, due to his partner having the more unique look.
74. Kevin Steen- wrestled for JAPW, ROH and for CZW. Got bashed in PWI magazine due to Brandi's relationship with CM Punk, but it wasn't deserved. However, it wouldn't hurt him to lose the T-Shirt. An IWS Canada regular.
75. Bobby Roode- won the NWA Cyberspace Heavyweight and Internet Titles. Needs to lose the tired Team Canada gimmick, as it is holding down a very good wrestler.
76. Sabian- had a great year in CZW. Also wrestled for WXW, NWS and for other companies. Sabian is a cruiserweight who can back up all his talk, as he's a very good promo man.
77. Jimmy Jacobs- still wrestles for ROH. Became the story of the week when he trashed the IWA Mid-South Title at an AAW show. Claimed he did it only for financial reasons.
78. Monty Brown- Brown POUNCED his way into JAPW, where he picked up quick wins. Not really known for his work rate but he emits raw energy and power in every match he has. Was injured but wasn't out for too long. Still a huge player in TNA, where TNA dropped the ball with him.
80. Axl Rotten- in and out of the indy scene this year, Axl will rejoin ECW. Wrestled for UXW, PWU and for other indy promotions. A great promo man. Picked up several wins over Low Life Louie this year.

84. Quiet Storm- recently returned to Japan, but before that, he wrestled for JAPW, NYWC, LSW, VPW & for other promotions. Still uses the Storm Cradle Driver as a finisher.
85. Delirious- had his famous mask torn apart at a recent ROH show. Part of the new crop of ROH guys. Has a good gimmick that's easy to get into.
86. Samu- won the WXW World Heavyweight Championship. WXW is his home promotion, and has dominated there for years. One of the hardest hitting guys in wrestling today. Has tons of intensity and emotion which makes him very believable and credible in the ring. If you don't think so, try him outside of the ring!
87. Havok- formerly of the Solution, but he does still team up with Papadon from time to time. Currently 1/2 of the UXW Tag Team Champions with Monsta Mack. In one year with Mack, he's gained more notoriety and big wins than all the time when he was part of the Solution. Needs to focus on his career more and take wrestling seriously, as he and Mack could be the next big indy tag team.
88. Rocky Romero- considered the better half of The Havana Pitbulls by most. Currently wrestling in Japan. Can wrestle as well in singles matches as he does in tag matches.
89. Christian Cage- the NWA World Champion made his northeast debut for LSW. Also competed for NEW. His ranking would obviously be higher if he wrestled in the northeast more often.
90. Petey Williams- last year's ECWA Super 8 winner, Canadian Destroyed himself right into NWA Cyberspace. Gets a reputation of being a one move wrestler, a reputation that he does not want at all.
91. Mercedes Martinez- the highest ranked female this year. Mercedes dominated the women's scene and even won a mens title in the process, as she's the current WXW Cruiserweight Champion. Beat JD Michaels in ABC Wrestling. Debuted in JAPW. Made a huge impression in SHIMMER.
92. Boogalou/Boog Washington- with Lo Lincoln, he's 1/2 of the Dead Presidents. Won the NYWC tag team titles. Debuted in ABC Wrestling, JAPW and in PWF-NJ. Has a great gimmick, but don't forget- he's a former amateur wrestling champion, as he showed off those skills at WSU.
93. Damian Adams- a Jersey regular, who competed alot for NWS, before paying his way to OVW. Throws some of the best punches on the indy scene. Known for his wicked Alabama slam. A former SSCW Heavyweight Champion.
94. Tony Devito- this Carnage Crew member would fit in great with the new ECW, as he's much meaner and bigger than his first ECW run. Great on the mic and his brawling skills are unmatched. Recently debuted in PWU.
95. Buff-E- one half of the Christopher Street Connection. Wrestled mostly for UXW. Went through a down period in early 2006, before returning with a new evilish look.
96. Mace Mendoza- part of the CSC. With Buff-E, makes up one of the most entertaining teams in wrestling today. Don't let the gimmick fool you, he can hit harder than most.
97. Excess- wrestled for CZW and for JAPW. An IWS Canada regular, as that is the fed where he made his name.
98. Low Ryda/Lo Lincoln- teams with Boog Washington in the Dead Presidents tag team. Enjoying a great tag team run, just like his Los Lunatics days. Wrestled for JAPW, NYWC, PWF-NJ, WSU and for other promotions this year.
99. Danny Demanto- had a career year as he got a big push in JAPW. Can bleed buckets as well as do comedy. Wrestled all over, as he competed in JAPW, UXW, PWF-NJ, ACPW, AWA, NWS & for other promotions. Loses most of his matches, but the JAPW loyal don't seem to mind.
100. Ghanda Rhea Akbar/Eddie Guapo- had the best year in his career since he was part of Los Lunatics. The Ghanda Rhea Akbar gimmick is similiar to the Indian wrestler he portrayed when he wrestled in Italy. Excellent promo man. Had a big match with Tito Santana at ABC Wrestling.
