Another Jac Sabboth Horror Story
From Christian Lill at TrueMetalHero@aol.com:
Hi Sean,
back in 2005 I have purchased 2 DVDs from icwzone.com....Jac Sabboth was the store owner and he had many ICW/UCW tapes and a handful of DVDs (Best Ofīs & Shoot Interviews) available.
I have asked him about the quality of the content (sound & picture quality) because the stuff I was interested in was from 2001-2003. He told me the quality is AWESOME and he only sells copies from the original masters he owned...his DVD releases include full color cover, printed discs, chapter menus, standard dvd case and are a MUST-HAVE for a true wrestling fan.
He gave me some info about his person and said he is a very well known wrestling promoter and booker...his storylines are incredible and he supports all indy workers and even tickert sellers. His ICW/UCW shows are the best indy wrestling you will see in years to come. He gave me his Ebay ID and I checked his recent feedback and it was over 99% positive feedback so I thought this is a reliable and trustworthy seller. I was only worried about the shipping costs by standard airmail to Germany...in the end I have purchased 2 DVDs @ $14.95 each + $20.00 for S/H...The Very Best of ICW/UCW Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 DVD. He said I would really love and enjoy the DVDs...
2-3 weeks later I received the package in the mail...opened it and the DVD covers looked to be done by a 8 year old kid...the discs itself had no printing on it...I put the DVDs into my player and NOTHING!!!...absolutely NOTHING on the DVDs...blank. I have tried to contact him but he never responded to my messages. I guess all the positive feedback on Ebay was for fake transactions with friends and family. I opened a PayPal dispute and it took over 6 weeks but in the end I received a full refund.
This guy...Jac Sabboth...is a waste of time...donīt trust him...he still believes that he is a great person and one of the best promoters of all time.
