Item Description:
That's right, you don't have to rub your eyes, the DOI has in fact, conducted a shoot interview with the infamous indy legend that is known as Carmine Sabia Jr. Likened to the Wizard of Oz and self proclaiming himself as "The George Steinbrenner of Indy Wrestling", Carmine Sabia Jr. has definitely left a mark on the world of indy wrestling.
For those not familiar, Carmine Sabia is the promoter who is most known as the promoter who runs shows from his house. Carmine, who in real life suffers from agoraphobia, has been known to grab headlines around the indy scene as being one of the most "indy" people in indy wrestling. From asking Rob Feinstein to manage CM Punk after the RF/ROH fiasco, to pulling B-Boy off of AWA shows, to bringing in Scott Steiner when no other promotion could get their hands on him, Carmine has made himself known in the wrestling business, as the promoter of SSCW.
Carmine started in the business before the turn of the millenium. Formerly a person with wrestling training, Carmine got into the wrestling promoting game through Tommy Fierro. Find out all about Carmine's early history. Carmine promoted SSCW. Find out all about Carmine's previous business partners and deals. After 3 years, of off/on cancellations and events, SSCW closed doors in 2004. Find out why SSCW closed. Find out everything you always wanted to know about the mysterious and hardly ever seen Carmine Sabia.
In this interview we discuss a myriad of subjects. Find out how Carmine got into the business. Find out how Carmine went from being a local NJ indy promoter to being known as the promoter who doesn't leave his house. Carmine discusses many legends that he dealt with in the wrestling business such as Scott Steiner (and giving him the SSCW Title), Steve Corino, Tammy Sytch, Jimmy Snuka, Bam Bam Bigelow and Mr. Puerto Rico, among others.
Carmine also discusses the inner workings of the indy wrestling business. Find out his thoughts on all his bookers, including Simon Diamond. Find out his thoughts on everyone on the indy scene, all the indy wrestlers today, the state of the wrestling business and what he thinks about all of today's current events. Carmine discusses all the rumors about his alleged promiscuous sex life and proclaiming himself the "George Steinbrenner of Wrestling."
Carmine also discusses the inner workings of the indy wrestling business. Find out his thoughts Also included is bonus footage of a DOI Rib pulled on Carmine Sabia. Never in the history of shoot interviews has something like this been filmed before.
