3PW Update
The Blue Meanie recently sent out the following letter to the fans of 3PW:
Hey everyone. I just wanted to send a letter of appreciation out to the fans who came out last Saturday and support us thru tape and DVD sales. In reflecting over the past 3 years we have been thru a lot and continue to do things to make an entertaining product for you to throw down you cash for.
In the past few months 3PW has had a few changes and we will have a few more in the time to come. Last show we have some new faces and we are trying new things to keep things fresh while also trying to be entertaining. I am currently working the next show line up and will have it up on the site and out to the sites who do cover us very soon. Again, with all my heart I want to say thanks your and I truly appreciate your support!!

From what the DOI has heard from sources within 3PW, lots of changes in management are expected. 3PW realizes that they aren't reaching their potential, and are looking forward to changing things around. Once we can announce anything officially about the changes, we will print it here on the DOI. As for Meanie's letter, you can tell that he's 100% sincere and committed into making 3PW one of the better promotions around.
More news on the Striker/Kruel/Eckos front has become available. According to a source close to the situation, Striker let 3PW know he wasn't going to be able to attend the event, three weeks before the show. 3PW gave Striker the ok, and was satisfied that they were contacted by Striker. Rob Eckos let 3PW know a week before the show that he wouldn't be there. Mike Kruel told 3PW a day before the show that he would be attending the clinic, rather than the 3PW show. The clinic, that all three wrestlers attended, was a clinic to help the wrestlers with their chances of getting work with the WWE.
3PW returns on April 9th at the ECW Arena. No matches have been announced yet.

Some fans have emailed the DOI, wondering where Mike Kruel (who is 1/2 of the 3PW Tag Team Champions), Rob Eckos & Matt Striker (One of the number 1 faces in 3PW) were this past Saturday night. According to ECWAProwrestling.com, all three participated in a wrestling camp in Massachusetts. ECWAProwrestling.com had the following statement on their website:
The following ECWA crew attended a weekend wrestling camp at Chaotic Wrestling in North Andover, Mass on March 19 & 20. Mike Kruel, Low Ki, Billy Bax, Rob Eckos, Striker, The O.C. Boyz, Mozart Fontaine, Andrew Ryker, Michael Lashbrook, Kirk Whiting, Josh McCloskey, Richard Phillips and Jim Kettner.
In my opinion and knowledge of indy wrestling, I am guessing that Kruel, Striker & Eckos opted to do the camp over their 3PW scheduled booking to advance their chances and hopes of landing WWE work. Chaotic and ECWA have a good relationship with the WWE, and that is why I think those three wrestlers decided to do the camp, rather than honor their booking. 3PW officials told the DOI that they weren't aware of the camp. It should be interesting to see if the careers of Kruel, Striker and Eckos are done now in 3PW. While Eckos is the easiest one to get rid of, Striker was the most entertaining wrestler 3PW had, and Kruel just won the tag team belts, with Simon Diamond, after controversy with his original partner, Gary Wolfe.
We'll have more on this story as news becomes available.

POST SHOW NEWS
The crowd was estimated anywhere from 150-200, which shows interest is still there, during 3PW's rebuilding period. Changes are still being made, as 3PW rolls along in 2005.
Arguably, the company's number 1 face, Matt Striker, was advertised but didn't show up. In addition, Mike Kruel & Rob Eckos were booked but did not show up. No reason is known for the no shows as of right now. We'll have more on the no-shows as information becomes available.
3PW returns again on 4/9 at the ECW Arena.
