10 DAYS UNTIL 1PW CROWNS ITS FIRST CHAMPION
The excitement continues to build towards 1PW's ALL OR NOTHING weekend,
Saturday March 4th and Sunday March 5th at the Dome Leisure Complex in
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Preparations for the monumental weekend continue
full-steam with everyone involved trying to make not just Saturday night's
World Title tournament but also Sunday night's supershow (which includes
the new 1PW champion making his first title defence against NWA World
champion CHRISTIAN CAGE) and even Sunday afternoon's FanSlam into the
best wrestling experience ever for the UK faithful.
Newsline spoke to 1PW capo STEVEN GAUNTLEY to get his feelings on the
upcoming weekend. The promoter was enthusiastic about how the events
were shaping up: "Next weekend is going to be a high point in my
dream
of bringing the very best in British wrestling talent together with the
very best talent from around the world. We're about to crown a champion,
a standard bearer for our promotion. How could I not be excited?"
When asked about what's in store for the new champion, Gauntley was
eager to share a few secrets. "Well right off the bat, the new champion
has to face Christian Cage. The belt will also be defended at May's “Know
Your Enemy” weekend shows against an opponent or opponents to be
determined. Plus there are a few high profile names, both British and
foreign, that we're discussing offering title shots to. The action surrounding
the World Title is going to be fierce right from the start. It’s
going to be hard to win the title and even harder to keep it."

CORINO SITUATION INTENSIFIES
Ever since 1PW Newsline reported Steve Corino was forced out of his seed
in the 1PW Heavyweight Title Tournament due to contractual obligations
in Japan, there have been rumors regarding a very underhanded plot orchestrated
by the Old School X leader to try to ensure the 1PW Title still ends up
in his grasp sooner than later, despite not even being on the same continent
during the tournament! Through a series of phone call records and investigative
reporting throughout the 1PW office, we can confirm Mr. Corino seems to
have a plan in place to have a significant impact on All or Nothing weekend.
1PW’s Joe Dombrowski is currently investigating the matter and hopes
to be able to report more early next week.
1PW COMING SOON TO A TELEVISION NEAR YOU
1 Pro Wrestling is pleased to announce that it has signed a TV deal with
the UK’s ‘The Wrestling Channel’ on Sky Channel 427. The
deal comes just weeks before what is looking to be 1PW’s biggest
show to date; All or Nothing, where an 8-man single elimination tournament
will declare 1PW’s first ever World Champion.
Towards the end of March, TWC will air a 4-hour 1PW ‘Supercard Special’
featuring the stars of 1PW in all their glory, including highlights from
previous 1PW events, including the crowning of the 1PW World Champion,
as well as special guest interviews and exclusive promos. 1PW are looking
forward to working with The Wrestling Channel, as both parties have expressed
interest in the concept since 1PW’s debut show this past October.
We at 1PW are excited about this latest deal, and are hoping to extend
further on The Wrestling Channel during the remainder of the year, and
definitely leading into 2007; but these developments depend on our loyal
fans, as it is you, the fans, that make 1PW what it is today.

Floor, Lower Tier and Balcony sections. Sundays's show is expected to
