“UP CLOSE WITH BRET HART” COMING TO DONCASTER
With the announcement just 2 weeks ago that legendary 7-time World
champion BRET “THE HITMAN” HART had signed an exclusive appearance contract with 1PW, fans had many questions as to what Bret’s participation would be at the
NO HOLDS BARRED events and how they could get a chance to meet him. 1PW

First, something of a disclaimer: Bret Hart WILL appear on both Friday
and Saturday night’s events but WILL NOT be wrestling on either of these
shows. Bret has been retired from wrestling since January of 2001 and will not
be making a return to active competition at these shows.

On Friday afternoon starting at 1pm, 1PW will be holding a three-hour
Bret event entitled UP CLOSE WITH BRET HART in the Dome’s conference room.
A one –hour Q&A session, hosted by 1PW’s own ANTHONY KINGDOM JAMES, will be followed by a 2-hour autograph signing. Participation in these events is strictly limited to 200 fans with tickets going on sale today for the low price of just £17.

MORE INCREDIBLE MATCHES ANNOUNCED FOR 1PW’S JANUARY WEEKEND
There are just 44 days to go until 1PW’s huge NO TURNING BACK weekend
at the Dome in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, and today, Newsline is pleased to
announce even more exciting matches for both the Friday January 6th and Saturday January 7th events.
First, on Friday night, former WCW Cruiserweight and 2-time former NWA
World Tag Team champion ELIX SKIPPER will be in Doncaster to take on UK
cruiserweight sensation SPUD. “Primetime” goes one-on-one with “The Little
Wrestler Who Could” in a battle of underdogs.
Then, on Saturday night, we have three big matches to tell you about.
First, “The Monster” ABYSS, accompanied to the ring by his new mentor
STERLING JAMES KEENAN, will take on D-LO BROWN. Brown and Keenan have
been waging verbal wars to match their battles inside the ring. Now Keenan
will unleash his near-7 foot tall beast on the wily veteran.
Next, THE ICEMAN, who went toe-to-toe with the ultra-focused, ultra-violent
LOW-KI at A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE, will face the man who re-invented the
word “hardcore” and took violence to a whole new level when he steps into
the ring with “The Suicidal, Homicidal, Genocidal Maniac” SABU. This match
is sure to get out of hand quicker than a pile-up on the M5.
And finally, pure adrenalin and excitement hit 1PW with what might be the
fastest paced 4-way dance ever, London’s JODY FLEISCH, Essex’s JONNY
STORM, America’s JERRY LYNN and Canada’s PETEY WILLIAMS square off with
international bragging rights on the line. Partner must fight partner and bitter rivals meet each other once again in this one of a kind, single fall match.
