In recent times, particularly over the last week, Matt Hardy's current contractual and legal status have been the subject of much speculation and doubt. Matt's pension to seemingly pop up in whatever promotions he feels like has confused and perplexed some to the point where some feel he would be unable/unwilling to appear at 1PW's "A Twist of Fate" live event at the Doncaster Dome in Doncaster England on October 1st.

However, this past week, 1PW promoter Steven Gauntley had the opportunity to communicate with Mr. Hardy via e-mail, and in addition a 1PW official had a brief discussion with Matt this past Friday evening. From this we have surmised that Matt DOES intend to still appear on October 1 at the Doncaster Dome, and does intend to face the monster Abyss. Furthermore, Mr. Hardy has agreed to publicly address 1PW, its fans, and the monster Abyss within the next few weeks. 1PW "A Twist OF Fate", the debut show from the most talked about promotion in the UK, takes place October 1st 2005 at the Dome in Doncaster, UK.

1PW officials have been hard at work making our debut show the absolute best show it can be.

Steve Corino's Opponent Signed
We promised you an announcement with regards to Steve Corino's opponent for the show. Well, Corino himself signed an open contract, telling 1PW that he was that confident heading into "A Twist Of Fate", that he was prepared to face any challenge.

1PW officials took the former ECW World Champion up on his request, and when WWE Superstar Al Snow came calling, asking for the chance to answer this challenge, and for the chance to be a part of one of the most anticipated UK shows ever; 1PW signed the match.

Al Snow, who now heads up the WWE's Ohio Valley Wrestling, and recently also appeared as part of the ECW "One Night Stand" Pay Per View, told 1PW officials he cant wait to wrestle in front of 1PW's fans on October 1st in Doncaster, UK.

VIP Fan Conference
The 1PW VIP Fan Conference will take place on Saturday October 1st at 2pm in the Doncaster Dome's VIP Bar and Conference Suites. A limited amount of exclusive tickets are on sale right now through www.1upgames.co.uk.

VIP Guests to this event will be treated to Q & A sessions with the Superstars of 1PW, in addition to live music, merchandise, the opportunity to take part in a live DVD taping, access to the VIP Bar, and a very special surprise.

This event is open to 1PW fans of all ages, as there are no age restrictions.

1PW Deluxe Sky Box Packages
1PW has released several exlusive Deluxe Sky Box Packages for our debut show A Twist of Fate. The Sky Box Seats up to 10 people, and commands a superb view looking down over the whole arena. The Sky Box also comes with a 1PW Deluxe Gift Pack, containing promo photos, an event programme signed by the 1PW Superstars, and an ROH Raven & Sandman Shoot Interview DVD. The skyboxes are priced at £300, and a limited number are available at time of writing.

The Spirit of Philly Comes to Doncaster
1PW is a huge fan of our almost name sake 3PW, out in Philly. 3PW have a huge show called Back With A Vengeance planned for September. Events at this much anticipated show will shape the signed 3PW World Title Match that will take place at 1PW's "A Twist Of Fate". Who will hold the 3PW Title heading into "A Twist of Fate"? Who will be deemed the number one contender to the belt ? Will they bring any Philly shaped 3PW surprises with them to Doncaster?

1PW's Adrenaline Division
Since 1PW announced our planned Adrenaline Division last week, we have been in-undated with highly talented and explosive British workers who feel that they fit the bill, and know that they can show the world what they have, if they can manage to get signed into this match.

The Adrenaline Division is essentially a cruiserweight division without a weight class. It is designed to give the countless talented high flying and high impact athletes working in the UK a chance to prove their worth on the grand 1PW stage.

1PW are currently in negotiations with many talented athletes to take part in this match.

We are happy to announce from all the applicants, the first two men to be signed are James Tighe, and "The Gift" Ross Jordan.

The £80 gold ringside tickets are now sold out. £60 gold 2nd and 3rd row ringside tickets are still available (gold ticket holders will be admitted to the arena over an hour early for a special VIP gold ticket event featuring meet and greet autograph and picture sessions with the wrestlers, and participation in events being recorded for the dvd release of A Twist Of Fate.

Floor seating 4th-6th row ringside tickets are priced at £25. Lower tiered seating is priced at £20. These seats are very close in to the ring, and have a superb view.

We are very happy to announce that Matt Hardy will make his first ever non WWE wrestling appearance in the United Kingdom at 1PW "A Twist of Fate". Hardy has remained in the fans' hearts since his WWE departure, as fans still chant " We Want Matt " at live WWE events. Well, the good news is that Matt Hardy can't wait to come over to the UK and share a special evening with his UK fans at "A Twist of Fate". Matt's opponent for the show? TNA's monster Abyss! This will be the UK wrestling debut for the masked big man who has terrorized the ranks of TNA.

After the recent events in Matt's personal life he has dedicated himself to refocusing his efforts on his in-ring career, and is actively accepting challenges from the biggest and best in the world today. And they don't get much bigger than 6'8" 350 lb. Abyss. Not only one of the most intimidating and ruthless individuals in wrestling today, Abyss has spent most of early 2005 targeting Matt's brother Jeff in TNA, even going as far as to "Black Hole Slam" Hardy into a pile of thumbtacks. Jeff was never able to avenge that savage beating, however with brother Matt fighting with plenty of inner rage, and in fornt of his passionate UK fans; he may just be the one who can topple the monster.

One further match has been signed thus far for the show; Raven VS Sandman: and this is another first time in the UK. This match was signed by 1PW officials for our debut show at the request of both Raven and Sandman. Both superstars are sadistically waiting in anticipation of this match, to tear down the house, along with each other; in the UK.

One recurring theme this year has been the re-interest and re-birth of sorts of ECW -Extreme Championship Wrestling - in the form of 2 reunion shows held in the northeast United States. These shows have brought back many memories, some fond and some not so fond, of fans and wrestlers alike and has provided the chance for many men to reflect back on any possible unfinished business they may have had in that promotion. When you think of major rivalries in ECW, the Raven/Sandman saga has to come to mind. One of the most personal grudges of all time, Raven dared cross the proverbial line, bringing Sandman's wife and young son Tyler into his nest of followers, leaving Sandman for the first time in his career, emotionally destroyed and helpless. Although Sandman and his family eventually reconciled, the bad blood between he and Raven remained, and even spilled into WCW & TNA in later years. Now, 1PW brings to you, one of the most high-profile and unforgettable feuds in ECW history one last time, as the Sandman battles Raven in a No-Disqualification Match for the first time in the UK! Sandman and Raven just can't resist tearing into each other one more time.....

1PW officials have also signed more exciting world class superstars for the show, including Ring of Honor World Champion Austin Aries, TNA's X Division superstar Chris Sabin and UK high flyer Jonny Storm. Matches involving these superstars and others, will be announced over the coming weeks.
