Know Your Enemy - Night Two

WrestleMag were at The Dome in Doncaster, England this evening for Night Two of 1PW’s ‘Know Your Enemy’ weekend, in front of a larger crowd compared to last night’s show, with an attendance close to the 1,600 capacity of The Dome. The added numbers made for a much hotter crowd than last night also.

Results as follows:

- Pac won a 6-way British Cruiserweight Open, beating Darkside, Spud, Dragon Aisu, Stevie Lynn and El Ligero.

- Nigel McGuiness beat Jay Phoenix. Before the match, Phoenix had come out to Samoa Joe’s music (a video package was aired at last night’s show for the return of Phoenix, who as we reported at the time of the event had been made to look stupid and got heat with wrestlers and management after playing a prank on Joe in a hotel after a 1PW show earlier in the year.) and cut a promo which got him some huge heel heat.

- AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels beat Team SHAG (Colt Cabana & Darren Burridge) to advance to the final of the 1PW Tag Team Title tournament.

- Jonny Storm & Jody Fleisch beat Southern Comfort (Tracy Smothers & Chris Hamrick) to advance to the final of the 1PW Tag Team Title tournament.

- Al Snow & The Blue Meanie won a three way elimination match, defeating Generation Next (Austin Aries & Roderick Strong) and Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Takeshi Morishima & Mohammed Yone.

- After intermission, Iceman attacked Ulf Herman.

- Ricky Reyes vs Chad Collyer went to a double count-out.

- Sterling James Keenan beat Chris Hamrick, who pulled double duty after Southern Comfort’s match earlier tonight.

- Doug Williams beat Lance Storm.

- Jonny Storm & Jody Fleisch beat AJ Styles & Christopher Daniels to become the first ever 1PW Tag Team Champions. Post-match, all the British wrestlers on the roster came out to celebrate with them in the ring.

- Steve Corino beat Abyss and Christian Cage in a triple threat match to become the new 1PW Title. The match saw Corino get thrown from the balcony, with Abyss picking him up, carrying him to the ring and putting him through a barbed wire table. Corino’s son Colby got into the ring, and Abyss tried to chokeslam him. Corino Snr made the save with a barbed wire baseball bat and eventually picked up the win to become 1PW’s second title holder.
