Tons of Homicide News
IWA Mid-South issued the following release:
Homicide is under investigation by police in New York and he can't leave the state. While we will not go into detail about it, it is a very serious matter.
Homicide told Ian to tell the truth , that he is not going t make up excuses on why he can't be there.
Replacing Homicide in the 2005 TPI will be "The Wildeyed Southern Boy" Tracy Smothers.
Homicide was scheduled to compete in IWA Mid-South's "Ted Petty Invitational" tournament this Saturday, 9/24. The DOI has found out, through Homicide himself, that he is in serious trouble with the state of NY right now and is barred from leaving the state in the immediate future. Homicide is hoping to get this problem resolved, so he doesn't miss out on future bookings.
Homicide originally took IWA Mid-South's booking over ROH's 9/24 booking when he found out that ROH was holding their 9/24 show in Boston. Homicide told the DOI that he hates Boston and doesn't want to wrestle there at all. Homicide's hate for Boston stems from his utter disdain for the Boston Red Sox.
There is a possibility that Homicide will pop-up on Frank Goodman's UXW show, in Long Island, NY, due to the fact that the show is in NY. Homicide's problems with the law states that he can't leave the state of NY right now, but is able to earn a living in the state.
Both Frank Goodman and Homicide told the DOI that the only way Homicide will work for UXW this weekend is only if Homicide has an A list opponent to wrestle. If a high class opponent can't be found, Homicide will not be wrestling on the show. UXW is hoping to find a top star for Homicide this Saturday. Knowing UXW's track record, I'd bet money that Homicide will be at UXW this Saturday.
Homicide is looking to rectify his problems with the state, as he is really looking forward to ROH's Weekend of Kobashi, which takes place next week in NY & in Pennsylvania.
We'll have more news on this story once it becomes available.
